hi everybody and happy new year.
2007 is the year i turn 40, in fact in exactly one month's time to be precise.. i've noted that a lot of people on jwd are a similar age to me.
i think it's because it takes us this long to pluck up the courage to finally leave the borg.. i need to know how turning 40 makes you feel.

Hi, SAB here - some of you will know that I am Bubbles husband.
I would like to confirm that even though she is technically nearly 40, in no way does she look anywhere near that age!
She is absolutely gorgeous in every way and I would like to take this opportunity to tell her that I really love her and that 2007 will be our best year together yet - until 2008 that is!
it's just turned midnight here in the uk, so happy new year everybody!!!!.
may all your dreams come true in 2007!!!.
linda.
Yes A Happy New Year to you all from the country from which time is measured!
It's gone midnight by Greenwich Mean Time so officially it's now 2007
Shame it's raining and windy in some parts of the UK, but in London it's ok. Did anyone see the fireworks from the Thames tonight?
I only saw them on telly but they looked fantastic - London is THE city to see in the New Year.
Happy new Year to everyone I met at the apostacurry and to anyone else that know me!
i remember the watchtower organization having me so scared of jehovah that i was getting paranoid.
i kept thinking he was watching me no matter where i was at.
i wouldn't dare say anything bad against the organization because jehovah was listening to me.
I too don't believe a word that the wittos preach but I can't help worrying that maybe they are right, or perhaps I'm gonna be struck down anytime soon. even before arma-gedding-(outta-here)
http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2006/12/london_braces_f.html.
"british intelligence and law enforcement officials have passed on a grim assessment to their u.s. counterparts, "it will be a miracle if there isn't a terror attack over the holidays in london," a senior american law enforcement official tells abcnews.com.".
sounds pretty serious.
I go into London on business 2 or 3 times per week - I was in London at the time of the bombings last year. in fact I was within 1/4 of a mile of the bomb in Mile End station.
even though I am aware of the situation and the possibility of future attacks, I still go about my job in the normal way.
To not go into London would be doing what the terrorists want - I and millions of others will work to make sure that London remains a bustling, vibrant democratic city, and the financial center of Europe.
Take care, be aware.

Hi Ozziepost.
The reason Australians do ok at sport is because you haven't got anything else to do - we are so busy making money in the financial capital of Europe, so busy getting involved with all the cultural activities taking place in our country ( culture is art, music, theatre etc, in case you Ozzies didn't know), so busy leading the world in the music industry (oh sorry you have got Jason donovan), so busy being one of the worlds leaders in the fashion industry, so busy on the g-nome project, so busy in science in general etc etc etc... and we still had time to beat you at cricket and rugby in 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way, you have never declared independence from us so technically even if you win, the ashes are still ours!!!!!!!!!!!!1
6,741,444 publishers in 99,770 congregations.. .
1,059,325 peak publishers in the lower u.s. this is a 2.3% increase.. south korea has yet, again, to post a zero or negative growth, and this being the most internet/ wired country in the world.
publishers are up another 1%.
I remember when any decrease was major news - now over 25% of the countries listed have shown a decrease - hardly inspiring eh?
Over half of the worlds population has never even heard of Jehovahs witnesses.
The Catholics had a bigger increase percentage wise than the witnesses.
There were more memorial partakers this year than 18 years ago!
Overall, not very good reading I'd say.
here it is scanned straight from the feb 1 2007 wt:.

....and I thought my ex was mad....maybe I'm lucky after all!
wow i've just realised that its been just over a year that i've been here, how time flies.
well i've had many ups and downs in life over that time, found new friends, learned a few important lessons and so on.
i feel much further away from the jw mindset than i was a year ago.
I am really pleased that you joined this site and that you went to the Apostacurry - it was great meeting you and I would like to say happy anniversary and here's to many many more!
All the best,
SAB
